Ta Da! So it's been a few months in the making but here we are with my new and improved website. So what's new? The main page is now a nice clean open feature that contains not only the most important information, but links to the most important pages/areas. Speaking of pages/areas. There are some new additions, a few have been lost and others have been combined. Instead of the previous shopping pages for the Store that existed within this site, you are now taken in a new window to my Shop section at my digital download partner Selz. This will work faster for you, and in no way will your security or shopping experience be compromised. Also if you can't see what you're looking for you can use the “Search” function. Talking of Shopping, I'm also pleased to be able to introduce by popular demand a new Merchandise Store. As per the Music and Photo Store sections, Merchandise opens in a new window and you are taken to my Shop section at my fulfilment partner Spreadshirt. The Registration, Contact and Links pages have now all been combined into one and that those annoying formulas that didn't work in every browser have been banished. Now you just simply send me an email to afponline@gmx.de and state in the “Subject” what it is you require (Register, Question, etc.) The Project pages are gone! To simplify things from now on I am no longer working under the different Project names Falconer, 20-12 and New Nails For Old Crosses. From now on it's all just “afp”. As if to underline that, I'm also no longer supporting project pages for people such as DJ Linus, film or Joanna Falconer. It's all just about me now and whatever I do be it Electronica, Ambient, Ethnic or Jazz, it's all “afp”. The Mastering service page has also been removed! It's simply been removed as I no longer have time for the level of business I was getting through this. I'm still open to some commercial work on a selective basis and if you have any interest in either my Mastering or Mixing services then just drop me a mail and I'll see what I can do. The Vault has also vanished for the time being. The problem being that while it may well contain stuff that I've worked on or written, in a lot of cases I don't actually own the rights. Even though the tracks were not being offered for download, I have had a few grumbles from one or two people. So in the interest of peace harmony and not pissing anybody off, it's gone for now. Please note that in the News and News Archive sections I have updated links for the actual News and for Archive 1. After that it gets patchy, and of course some of the links had to be removed as they referred to things that just don't exist anymore. The same goes for old special offers. Right, I think that's about it for the moment and I hope you enjoy exploring the new site and all it has to offer. You can help me out as well if you like. Even though I've checked for mistakes I've probably overlooked something. So if you find a link that's broken, or something wrong, please do not hesitate to contact me at once and let me know what's up. Finally, I'd like to say a big thank you for all the love and support that has helped to keep Andy Falconer Projects rolling since it started in March 2015. I couldn't do this without you all.

IMPORTANT! I am working on a new sleeker faster and sexier Website which will be launched at the start of 2017. Until then I will not be updating this old site. For actual news, releases and activities I would suggest that you either look me up at Facebook or visit my On-line Store direct. See you in 2017!

Japan is a fascinating World of its own. The culture in the old and new has always had a spellbinding fascination. It's both beautiful, enigmatic and also peculiar. Although the history of the ancient Samurai or Ninja is often glorified, it is also the key to the present and to today's culture. In a state of constant reinvention, and with its seemingly boundless appetite for pop culture. But on the other hand, heavily steeped in traditional rituals exercised to perfection. With Random 2 Dirk Gerigk (bs-films) presents in his composition many of the visual impressions that showcase just a blink of this fascinating world.  Yet thanks to the camera work of (Iris Dobin / DVG Productions) you feel transported to the epicenter of this culture. Random is a project that is first emerged in 2012 when shooting in London, where by chance the camera recorded random video sequences while hanging off the camera strap. In 2016 the idea was reborn but conceptually somewhat modified. A small Action Cam would be used to accompany a traveler in Japan and when possible, used arbitrarily and without conscious capture motives through the viewfinder. The captured image material has then been arranged for music. Originally in 2012, with the artist Portion Control, and now in 2016 Andy Falconer of afp has been drafted in to produce the soundtrack. The soundtracks is available in the Store for download and you can check out Random 2 video by following the link to Youtube.

04/09/16

My soundtrack for the forthcoming BS-2 short film Random 2 has been added to the Store. Shot by Iris Dobin, idea and edit by Dirk Gerigk, it will be premiered on September 16th and will also be available for viewing here.
